This template generates a etymology for hiragana characters with a dakuten.

They are: ゔ, が, ぎ, ぐ, げ, ご, ざ, じ, ず, ぜ, ぞ, だ, ぢ, づ, で, ど, ば, び, ぶ, べ and ぼ.

Usage

Place this template below the etymology header of any applicable entry.

Parameters

Both parameters are positional (unnamed).

• |1= The character without dakuten.
• |2= The Hepburn romanization of the character without dakuten.

Examples

• The entry ば should contain:

• The entry べ should contain:
